Who is Mathilde?

With over seven years of experience, I am a professional tutor with a passion for language, learning, and doing things a little differently. Born and raised in a small village on the outskirts of Paris, I grew up immersed in French language and culture and never quite let go.

After completing a degree in Art History and an MBA in Hospitality, I decided to take my curiosity (and accent) across the world to Sydney, Australia. Trained as a teacher in France, I hold the DAEFLE diploma, specialising in teaching French as a foreign language.

I worked as a personal tutor at The French Learning Institute, as a Teacher Assistant at IGS, and am currently working at Reddam House. My teaching style is highly tailored; each lesson is designed around the objectives, learning style, and personality of her students, ensuring they feel confident, supported, and challenged at the right pace. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, combining structure with creativity to keep learning both effective and enjoyable.

My journey continues with the next chapter, undertaking a Master of Teaching because I am not done learning just yet.
